With their sound still as iconic and influential as ever, London punk legends The Damned are set to play a highly anticipated one-off show at Wembley Stadium’s sister venue: the Wembley OVO Arena on April 11th 2026. The show will feature the original lineup of members, including Captain Sensible, Dave Vanian, Paul Gray, and Monty Oxymoron, as well as their original drummer Rat Scabies, who is set to reunite with the band for the first time since 1989 — making it a show that will go down in punk history forever.

The band recently did what can be seen as a ‘warm-up’ show during their set at the post-punk Forever Now Festival, which took place at The National Bowl in Milton Keynes on June 22nd. The band overcame various technical difficulties and left the crowd wanting more, confirming that The Damned is still a household name in the music industry and punk genre.

Promising the show will have “the best songs from (our) checkered history” on their social media, the 12,000 fans in attendance can be sure to see a range of relics from their nostalgia-soaked days at the 100 Club to hidden gems, as well as their much-loved fan favourites. The line-up doesn’t just end at the pioneers of punk themselves but also boasts support from artists, The Loveless (featuring Marc Almond), Peter Hook & The Light, and The Courettes. An incredible five decades after their founding, The Damned have produced an incredible and extensive catalogue of music that has influenced several different artists, from The Misfits and The Cure to Bauhaus and Nine Inch Nails, to name but a few. This full-circle moment promises to unite fans new and old, to witness a band that never conformed to one mould but instead pushed boundaries and celebrated rebellion.
