Osees announce their 29th studio album
Osees, Oh Sees, Thee Oh Sees, OCS – whatever you call them, they’re releasing an album!
California’s freak-folk-turned-psychedelic rock band, Osees, announced they will release yet another studio album only a year after their previous LP, SORCS 80.
This marks 22 years of the rock group producing an album annually. ABOMINATION REVEALED AT LAST will also be the 29th studio album in total for the group.
Recorded by Osees’ frontman, John Dwyer, in collaboration with Enrique Tena Padilla and Mario Ramirez, the project emits a sound to reflect and react to the world’s current affairs. Dwyer hinted that the twelve-track record was born out of events that felt endless, citing the influence of AI and the ongoing genocide in Gaza as only some of the reasons. Dwyer said, “The list goes on and on. It's been a long year already.”
Following their set at Glastonbury, Osees will be on tour across North America and Europe. ABOMINATION REVEALED AT LAST will be available to listeners on August 8th via Deathgod, though the album’s single FIGHT SIMULATOR is streamable now.
