PUNCHBAG share up-tempo debut single
‘Fuck It’ is an anthem all about throwing caution to the wind and living life to the fullest.
The brother and sister duo are coming out swinging with their first-ever single under a label.
PUNCHBAG, newly signed to Mute Records, have come out with Fuck It, a boisterous, chaotic, and ambitious pop track, with a runtime of only two minutes. The runtime for a debut single would generally feel like there’s not much substance to it, but that issue does not come to light for PUNCHBAG, as they do an excellent job of weaving in vocals from both Clara and Anders Bach, alongside Anders’ production. It’s not overbearing on either side, the vocals are given their opportunity to shine when necessary, and the in-your-face production is allowed to shine throughout the track whenever it’s given the chance. The lyrics are as equally as direct as the production, as it has to do with living for yourself, no worries in the world at all, and ultimately going for whatever it is that you want to go for.
PUNCHBAG gained a lot of attention regarding their live performances, first starting out being managed (and still currently are managed) by Made, a major Norwegian music management company that branched out into the UK and is now branching out into Latin America.
PUNCHBAG have continued their momentum into a label signing, where they have been given an opportunity to show the potential they have and what they have to offer the music world to flip it on its head. The chaotic, brash start is a big first step for one, but is also a massive statement for the duo, saying loud and proud that they have arrived and are metaphorically throwing elbows a la mosh pit and are looking to make the most out of their continued success.
Fuck It is out now via Mute Artists.
